PARIS, FRANCE: For seven years, MobileGlobe has provided professional people with solutions to optimise international calls made on mobile phones. The operator has now expanded its technology by adding a new, WiFi calling function, enabling callers to save an extra 50 percent on their phone bills.

The idea is simple: when you make a call from abroad on your mobile phone, MobileGlobe automatically detects any WiFi connection that may exist in real time. If the signal detected is considered sufficiently reliable to conduct a conversation in perfect conditions, the operator suggests launching the call through WiFi. Otherwise, the call is processed using MobileGlobe's normal procedures and is converted from an outgoing call to an incoming one without the caller having to lift a finger.

Since 2007, MobileGlobe has provided a dedicated solution for professional people, enabling cut-price international calls to be made on a mobile phone without having to change operator. After registering on the MobileGlobe website or speaking to a member of the sale team on the phone, the user just downloads the MobileGlobe app to their Smartphone (iOS, Android or Blackberry) free of charge. They can then make international calls in the same way they would make local ones; the app automatically takes care of outgoing calls abroad.

For each call made, MobileGlobe will choose the cheapest option without the caller having to lift a finger.

For example, if the caller is in France and calls abroad, the operator will convert the international call into a local one, which is the best way to cut the cost of the caller's phone bill. If a call is made from abroad, MobileGlobe will convert it into an incoming call, reducing the cost by up to 60 percent.
