NEW DELHI: Nokia today launched the N90 multimedia that incorporates Carl Zeiss optics for the first time.

Nokia N90 has a full set of advanced digital camera features. It is targeted at high-technology enthusiasts who value the ultimate in connected mobile photography.

The N90 boasts of a 2-mega-pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus and 20x digital zoom, integrated flash, macro mode for sharp close-ups and high quality video capture with on-phone editing capabilities. N90 is a part of the Nseries high performance multimedia range products.

Announcing the launch, Gautam Advani, director, Multimedia, Nokia India, said, “Consumers are looking for high performance multimedia devices and the N90 provides a unique mix of superior imaging, video, music and smartphone features. The N90 provides advanced camera phone features and functionality coupled with best in class design and twist-and-shoot capabilities.”

Positioning the Nseries multimedia devices as being at the cutting edge of technology and style, Advani added in a statement, “The Nseries devices will lead the industry by bringing a new definition to mobility and real digital convergence of multimedia capabilities.”

The N90 features two ergonomic modes for instant photo and video capture. Twisting the rotating camera barrel automatically activates the 2-mega-pixel camera. The Nokia N90, based on Series 60 Platform, is a tri-band phone for GSM 900/1800/1900, EDGE and WCDMA networks.
