Mirrus launches first R&D center in India

BANGALORE, INDIA: Mirrus Systems Inc., a CBay Group company, today inaugurated its first Indian R&D center in Bangalore.

Initially, the company plans to invest $1.5 million on the center, according to Nanda Krish, president and CEO, Mirrus Systems.

The center will focus on development and maintenance of Mirrus Systems technology platform for its patient financial services offerings.

The company plans to increase its headcount to over 300 by next year in anticipation of the increase in demand of the company’s services across US hospitals, said Krish.

“This center is at the core of our India growth strategy, as we plan to ramp up India headcount to1000 by 2010,” added Krish.
