MIOT Hospitals to enter software sector

CHENNAI: Chennai-based corporate hospital, MIOT, is planning to enter the software sector, the chairperson of the group, Mallikka Mohandas has said.

Disclosing this to Cyber Media News, during the launch of the retreat center, Mallikka Mohandas said that one of the main reasons for the hospital to be successful for the complete automation.

“All our systems, labs are automated, including the banking transactions are done online, using the hospital management software developed by our internal EDP team,” she said, adding that the automation has considerably reduced the costs, which made the hospital to be seen as affordable.

“We now plan to start our own software firm and replicate our success by sharing our software with other small and medium sized hospitals across Tamil Nadu,” she added in this regard.
