Mindcrest tops LPO sector: Black Book

BANGALORE, INDIA: Legal services outsourcing leader Mindcrest has beaten competitors to be ranked numero uno in The Black Book of Outsourcing's “2009 Top 20 Overall Core Legal Services Outsourcing" list.

The LPO major finished ahead of as many as 4,839 global outsourcing suppliers of various service lines and locations. Significantly, Mindcrest has been consistently ranked in the Top 5, since 2007.

Known for its specialization in core legal services, including compliance, legal research, contracts, legal analytics and litigation support, Mindcrest is currently the market leader for international legal services based out of India.

Expressing happiness over the ranking, Rohan Dalal, managing director, India, Mindcrest, said “In addition to being recognized as the industry leader and expanding our business, we are launching a new global practice area to handle legal services for real estate transactions.”

The company has its Global Real Estate Due Diligence Group utilizing Indian and international legal talent to provide its services for realty players around the globe. It is into lease abstraction and analysis of all property lease types, including retail, office, industrial and medical buildings and cellular transmission sites; data conversion to new or updated lease administration or accounting systems; tenant reimbursement analysis; and document preparation and review in connection with estoppel certificates and commencement date letters.

Mindcrest’s Chicago-based president and CEO Ganesh Natarajan, added: “Our ‘Global Real Estate Due Diligence Group’ will further strengthen our existing expertise in core legal services, which has been recognized by Black Book.”

The Black Book of Outsourcing, authored by Florida-based Brown-Wilson Group (part of the Data Monitor), has surveyed outsourcing users and C-level officers to gain a buy-side decision-maker perspective on the global services industry.

A stringent external auditing of client-experience responses of nearly 24,000 buyer executives, more than half of them C-level executives, were scrutinized before picking Mindcrest as the No. 1 LPO for 2009 .
