BANGALORE, INDIA: Eleven startups graduated this year from Microsoft Ventures after four months of training.
Every six months, the programme is initiated and it has already begun receiving applications from this April for the next batch.
The company has added 74 startups till now and $500,000 average funding with four exists, starting from 2012.
"We mentor the startups and continue that even after they graduate. This is our sixth batch of graduates and we are positive that institutionalising our efforts under ICI will help us scale up and help even more businesses," said Ravi Narayan, Director, Microsoft Ventures, India.
Microsoft Ventures have launched their new programme Innovation for Corporates (ICI). The program will help startups innovate and implement different business models.
ICI will offer three programmes that is Market Access Program (MAP), aims bring startups and enterprises together; Partner in Acceleration (PIA), corporates get to leverage Microsoft Ventures’ knowhow and resources. High Performance Program (Hi- Po) Program, will work with top startups nominated by corporates.
