BANGALORE, INDIA: Microsoft Corp has announced an update to its CRM suite, making Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 available in eight languages.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 is now available for on-premise and on-demand deployments in Danish, English, Finnish, Dutch, French, German, simplified Chinese and Spanish.
Microsoft also announced to kick off a 12-week global launch tour, starting this week, to give organizations the opportunity to experience Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The tour, which would cover 50 cities in 20 countries, begins with Barcelona, Spain, London, Madrid, and Vancouver.
The company plans to release it in 17 more languages -- Arabic, Brazilian, Portuguese, Czech, Greek, Hebrew, Hong Kong Chinese, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish,
traditional Chinese and Turkish. The new versions would be released in the next 90 days.
Multitenant architecture has been added to CRM 4.0 for a smoother and quicker deployment in a hosted environment, and within 48 hours of the code becoming available, customers would be able to deploy partner-hosted offerings.
Since the initial release of CRM 4.0 in December 2007, customers worldwide have gone into production on the new platform via both on-premise and on-demand deployment models, said Microsoft in a press release.
