The released candidate for IE 8 is not meant for Windows 7 beta. However, Windows 7 users will get an updated IE8 with the next update of Windows 7, added the report.

Rajiv Popli, director for Windows Client said, "IE8 RC1 is much faster than previous versions of Internet Explorer, so you will notice that difference right away. IE8 is also your personal explorer, with customizations that will enable an online experience defined by you."

"Through Accelerators and Web Slices, you can access the online services you care about most from any web page you visit, as well as easily stay connected with information that you want the most, without even having to visit the website," he added.

The updated release candidate will have cool features that will make user surfing experience faster and easier. Harder to see are the many security enhancements in IE8 RC1 that will help keep you protected against the ever-evolving online threats, things like protection from cross-site scripting attacks that no other browser offers.
