MOSCOW, RUSSIA: Microsoft's Russia unit can resolve some of the issues raised in an anti-monopoly probe by providing information and will fully comply to resolve the rest of them, the CEO of Microsoft Rus LLC said on Wednesday.

"We received documents containing some questions we are answering now. I think that will remove some of the issues without any problems," Nikolai Pryanishnikov told Reuters.

"Further, if there is dialogue and some solutions are required, we will cooperate and meet all demands, and continue to work in Russia for the good of consumers."

Last week, Russia's state anti-monopoly service launched a probe of Microsoft over cutbacks in supplies of the Windows XP operating system in Russia and on Wednesday it said it was also launching a probe into laptop makers.
