Microsoft recognizes Sonata Software as ‘Cloud Partner of the Year’

BANGALORE, INDIA: Sonata Software, a global IT consulting and software services provider which is focused on strategic IT solutions for businesses with new technologies, has been making significant progress in making the Cloud work for client needs.

The company recently received an award -‘Cloud Partner of the Year 2013' at the annual Microsoft Partner Summit in Bangalore.

Sonata's work on Cloud:

Sonata is committed to grow its capability on new technologies and has already established a Centre of Excellence dedicated for Microsoft Cloud technologies. Sonata is also part of Microsoft's global Cloud programs. The company offers Cloud based solutions across a wide range of needs spanning product engineering, application development & maintenance, licensing and infrastructure support.

A significant project the company has been recently involved in is building a Cloud based ERP service for a leading international ISV customer, with a ‘Connected Service' blueprint of standard cloud components and cloud connectors enabling multiple vendor applications to be seamlessly integrated as a web based service. The capabilities built on this project place Sonata in a position to offer unique strengths to serve both ISVs looking at cloud enabling their products as well as Enterprises seeking to move critical applications to the Cloud. A cloud based multi-tenant pay as you use CPG distribution platform was also launched in India with a first client going live on the service.

Sonata is also the largest value added resellers for Microsoft Cloud offerings to enterprise customers in India for Windows Azure & Office 365, having a strategic go-to-market approach, reaching out to an extensive list of customers and enabling them to make the most out of Microsoft Cloud solutions. On the value added services front, Sonata has helped customers achieve Application Migration from On-premise/AWS to Windows Azure, implement Hybrid Cloud infrastructure, offer Iaas - Infrastructure as a Service, PaaS - Platform, provide Data backup/Recovery on StorSimple and eVault. Apart from Windows Azure, Sonata also provides services on Office 365, an online collaboration suite consisting of Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, Office Web Apps to its customers. Large customers in the Retail, Financial, Telecom and Professional Services segments have realized benefits from the shift to such new applications with Sonata.
