Microsoft pushes its cloud agenda with Azure Café in Pune

PUNE, INDIA: Microsoft has set up an Azure Café in Pune- a physical hub that Microsoft has created for business leaders and members of the IT and cloud ecosystem to meet and discuss industry-shaping trends to advance their businesses and those of their customers.

Azure Café is an experience center set-up to bring together technologists from diverse communities to explore Microsoft Azure in a casual setting with Hackathons, fun-filled activities, contests and deep-dive demos of the Azure Platform.

Each week will have a defined theme that caters to Microsoft developers, start-ups, OSS developers, ISVs and students and will be driven by the developer various communities in Pune. Each participant will get a $100 Credit on Azure.

Over the next six weeks (Feb18- March15), the café will host a variety of learning and exchange sessions with specific industry and user-group tracks.

Team Cognosys, Technical Partners for the Azure Café, will be mentors to all the hackers that come to the event.

The Pune User Group will help orchestrate the event throughout this period with the volunteers and members spanning students, developers and start-ups.

Microsoft will also conduct the Azure Conference for cloud computing professionals in Pune on March 18 and 19 to help businesses explore some of the best cloud solutions and learn from experts to accelerate their move to the cloud.

Azure Café will be operational between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM at the Café Coffee Day in Aundh, Pune during the specific event dates.
