Microsoft plans back-up solution for Windows phone

BANGALORE, INDIA: Well, this can be an interesting news for all those Windows phone users, who are looking to find a solution to back up their data from Windows phone.

Although, Microsoft has not yet officially announced the back-up solution for Windows phone, users can see a job posting in Microsoft career official website for a software development engineer in Test, Windows Phone, where the company announces its plans to provide back-up solution for Windows phone by hiring an experience software engineer for its Windows Phone Division.

According to the job post, Microsoft has invited qualified candidates to join the Windows Phone Back-up, Migrate, and Restore team.

"Our goal is to ensure that no matter if someone loses their phone, drops their phone in a lake, buys a new Windows phone, or just has their toddler wipe their phone by entering the wrong PIN over and over, a user can quickly and seamlessly get their phone back to a good state," said a posting by Microsoft.

The development team at the Windows Phone division claims that the features that they are producing will be new for the next version of Windows Phone and will help ensure Microsoft stays ahead of the competition when it comes to disaster recovery.

This might be an important decision from Microsoft to expand its reach in the area of Cloud by providing back-up solution to its Windows phone customers.

However, we are not sure how long it will take for the development team at Windows Phone division to come out with a back-up solution for its Windows phone users.
