The Small Business Server 2000 includes Windows 2000 Server and a suite of
Microsoft's .NET Servers, including Exchange 2000 Server for email and
collaboration; Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server for enhanced
Internet Security and SQL Server 2000 for Database Management. SBS 2000 provides
an integrated setup and centralized management system, simplifying the otherwise
complex deployment process.

Commenting on the launch of the product, Microsoft Corporation (India)
director marketing Rajiv Kaul, said, "IDC estimates the small and medium
businesses segment in India to hold a great potential for IT vendors. The Small
Business Server 2000 couples Windows 2000 with the latest .NET server
technologies, providing small businesses with leading edge technologies that are
cost effective and easy to deploy. SBS 2000 not only meets immediate needs but
also helps future proof their overall investments, making it the ideal option
for this segment."

The suite also provides additional features like a shared fax service, shared
modem service and the Microsoft Health Manager, which sends regular server
status reports to provide an advance warning of potential problems. Customers
need to pay an additional sum for additional client access license. The Small
Business Server 2000 is available across the country through Microsoft
authorized resellers.
