NEW DELHI: Microsoft Corporation India Pvt. Ltd has launched the next version of its Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) offering — BizTalk Server 2006. BizTalk Server 2006 is Microsoft's core offering designed to connect employees, trading partners, processes and information.
According to the press release, BizTalk Server 2006 includes 23 application and technology adapters, helping to advance the affordability of application integration and BPM solutions. The Enterprise and Standard Editions of BizTalk Server 2006 include adapters for applications such as SAP, Siebel, Peoplesoft, Oracle Database, and JD Edwards at no extra charge.

BizTalk Server 2006 includes advanced management and deployment capabilities, real-time alerting functionality, and a new Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) portal to help companies optimize their business process management investments for maximum efficiency. In addition, BizTalk Server 2006 delivers new capabilities so businesses can integrate their legacy systems and mainframe assets. Such capabilities are driving strong early adoption of the technology. In India, over 20 customers and 10 partners have been a part of the early adopter program of BizTalk Server 2006. Early partners for the product include organizations like Logica, 3iInfotech, Byzan, AG Tech, MphasiS and Intelligroup. The product will be available to customers from May 1, 2006.
