Microsoft to host Tech-Ed 2006 in six cities

NEW DELHI: Microsoft

Corporation India Pvt. Ltd has announced that it will

host Asia's largest IT event - Tech-Ed 2006 for the tenth successive year.

Targeted at the developer, IT professional, and architect communities, Tech-Ed

2006 is aimed at providing insights into how to build, deploy, secure and manage

solutions using the full range of current and upcoming Microsoft products and

technologies.

The focus for this year's event is on Microsoft's upcoming products and

technologies - Windows Vista, Office 12 and Windows CE 6.0 Yamazaki.

For the first time, Microsoft is hosting Tech-Ed in six cities this year.

The event will commence on June 5 in New Delhi, and will then travel to Pune,

Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, finally concluding in Bangalore on June 24.

Tech-Ed will take place over a span of three days in each of the six

cities. Approximately 7,000 participants are expected to attend the event.

Speakers include experts from the industry, Microsoft's partners and

Microsoft.

Participants from several companies including Wipro,

TCS, Infosys,

HCL, HP,

Accenture

and Cognizant

are expected to attend TechEd.
