The Microsoft India Development Center, based

in Hyderabad, plans to double its operations in this financial year and

further expand the team from 40 people to over 200 people by the end of

next financial year.

The center has been developing the product Windows Services for Unix,

which was announced by Microsoft at the Workstation Leadership Forum (WLF)

in June this year. The first Beta of this product is now available. The

center has also been developing platform components for COM+ technologies,

the next generation of Component Object Model (COM).

Besides these two projects, the center has started working on two
