Microsoft crosses 2000-customer mark in India

BANGALORE, INDIA: Software giant Microsoft on Thursday said that it has achieved 2000 plus customers in India for its Dynamics solutions in a timeframe of less than five years across various industry sectors in the SME as well as enterprise segments.

The company claimed in a press release its Dynamics ERP and CRM solutions are helping its customers enhance their business operations, lower total cost of ownership and get a single view of their operations.

“This achievement is a result of our ability to offer a line of simple and easy-to-use Microsoft Dynamics range of solutions that shows clear business ROI and integrates easily with existing technologies that customers are familiar with or already have installed,” said Subhomoy Sengupta, group director — Microsoft Business Solutions.

“It enables customer to make more informed decisions, adapt to new opportunities and has the ability to scale as their business grows,” he added.

Customers who have deployed Microsoft Dynamics solutions include Kamla Dials Limited & Ethos Quantum Solutions, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd, Bharat Group, Jaipur Carpets, Wire and Fabric, Dr.Lal PathLabs, Sharda Motor Industries Ltd, Jay Chemicals, Rohit Surfactants, Harrison Malayalam, etc.

The company has made it easy to acquire ERP and CRM solutions by offering a pay-as-you-go hosted model that eliminates upfront investments and also reduces the hassle and costs of in-house IT personnel, it said.

The Dynamics family includes Microsoft Dynamics AX, the integrated ERP designed for large enterprises, Microsoft Dynamics NAV is specially designed for the medium to large enterprises, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a comprehensive customer relationship management solution.
