The ease of partnership with Iris comes from Iris’s strong relationship with premier vendors of IT hardware, including HCL, IBM, Lenovo, HP, LG and BenQ. Iris's offerings complement those of Microsoft’s OEM team.

Welcoming Iris into the Microsoft fold, Anil Sethi, Group Director—OEM Business, Microsoft India said, “Iris will help Microsoft achieve another milestone in expanding its national distribution footprint, and consolidate Microsoft’s OEM offerings. He added, “The association will help reach out to the bourgeoning businesses across the smaller towns.”

Microsoft is looking at reaching out to 260 cities with Iris coming on board. This partnership will also give a fillip to Microsoft and help achieve a significant growth in the overall business. The new venture will help recruit and enable a number of new COEM partners and also increase adoption of Vista through enablement initiatives.

Sanjiv Krishen, Chairman, Iris, commenting on the association with Microsoft stated, “This association with Microsoft will enable us to leverage Microsoft’s OEM offerings to diversify on our portfolio of products for the channel community.”
