Microsoft announces .NET awards

BANGALORE: Microsoft Corporation India has announced the winners of .NET awards in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. NIIT Ltd. has won the Best Training Service Provider on .NET award, HCL Technologies Ltd. has won the Best Solution developed on .NET by an Indian SI, Krishna Kumar, Executive Editor, PC Quest won the award for being the Best Technical Contributor on .NET, Aman D Garg from Chandigarh, was given an award for the Best Contributor to MSDN User Group and Powersolv India Pvt. Ltd. for ISV .NET Adopter Award in the city of Delhi.

Microsoft Corporation India Pvt. Ltd today announced the winners of seven .NET awards in the city of Bangalore. Symbiosis Training and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. has won the Best Training Service Provider on .NET award, Wipro Technologies Ltd. has won the Best Solution developed on .NET by an Indian SI, Developer IQ won the award for being the Best Technical Contributor on .NET, Vinod M Kumar, was given an award for the Best Contributor to MSDN User Group, Prof. Balaveera Reddy, VC, VTU, won the Critics Award for Best Contribution in Academia and PacSoft Solutions Ltd. for ISV .NET Adopter Award in the city of Bangalore. Additionally, a special award was given to Covansys (I) Pvt. Ltd. for their web based solution on .NET - Comprehensive Hospital Abstract Reporting System (CHARS) - which automates the existing hospital patient data system process running manually till date.

Earlier in Chennai, STG Chennai has won the Best .NET Training Institute award, Satyam Computer Services Ltd has won the Best .NET Application by a System Integrator award, Professor Arul Siromoney of Anna University was awarded with the Critics award in Academia, Servion Global Solution with the Best .NET application by an ISV award, Prof Thamarai Selvi, MIT of Anna University, was given an award for the Best Technical Contributor on .NET and Srikar Kumar B from Polaris won an award for being the Best Contributor to MSDN User Group in the city of Chennai.

In Mumbai, Synergetics has won the Best .NET Training Institute award, Mastek Ltd has won the Best Solution developed on .NET by an Indian SI, Patni Computer Systems Ltd won the award for being the Best Technical Contributor on .NET, Amol Vaidya from Synergetics, was given an award for the Best Contributor to MSDN User Group and Financial Technologies Ltd for Best .NET application by an ISV in the city of Mumbai. Mastek Ltd the Indian SI who won the award was recognized for delivering the London Congestion Charging project — a project that now controls the decongestion of London. Patni Computer Systems Ltd was chosen for the authoring a Range of technical books on .NET.

The .NET Developers NITE is an event brought by Microsoft in association Infosys, Patni, Mahindra British Telecom, HCL Technologies and Covansys, and is supported by NASSCOM.
