10,000 units of Micromax YU Yureka sold out in first sale

BANGALORE, INDIA: Micromax YU Yureka is now available for purchase on Amazon India. The first flash sale happened today on Amazon.in today at 2pm.

The sale was open for everyone who registered for the device between Dec. 19-24 on Amazon.in. 10,000 units were available for the pre-registered users. The order quantity for this product was limited to only one unit per customer.

The stock did not last long though, as there was an unprecedented response and total number of registrations were far more than the first stock of units available for sale. The seller is yet to notify the next date for sale.

YU Yureka  is the first phone in Micromax's YU series of smartphones made in collaboration with Cyanogen. It is also the first device from YU, that has been launched with Cyanogen OS and an exclusive OTA firmware updates and support in India.

The Dual-SIM(3G+4G)phone has a 5.5-inch HD IPS capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla glass 3; Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 with 1.5GHz 64-bit octa-core CPU; 2GB RAM; 16GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB; 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX135 CMOS Sensor and 5 megapixel front camera.

The phone runs on Android 4.4.4 and provides talk-time of 8 hours and standby time of 200 hours.

The YU Yureka has been priced at Rs. 8,999.
