Bangalore-based Microland group has launched
a technology portal called `ITspace' (www.itspace.com). The new portal
offers domestic and international news and analysis, IT policy and market
happenings, live stock feeds, discussion forums and user generated
contents.
Pradeep Kar, who calls himself the Chief Microlander, said, "ITspace
aims to be the resources destination of choice as well as the preferred
personal networking platform for IT decision makers. The portal will play
a critical role in our efforts to create an online community of IT
enthusiasts in India. ITspace is also structured for rapid growth with the
growth contours clearly defined by the needs of the community it
serves."
ITspace Editor Somenath Chowdhuri said, "ITspace is divided into
six sections: web applications, enterprise management, IT services,
manufacturing, finance and banking and IT policy. In a unique departure
from existing Indian sites, content is provided by IT professionals, IT
companies and academicians themselves." Presently about 21 people are
working on ITspace.
