Micro Tech to launch security solns in Japan

NEW DELHI: Micro Technologies India Ltd has announced that it has entered into a tie-up with Tokyo Software Business Co. Ltd.(T.S.B), Tokyo, for launching its security products in Japan. TSB will be launching these products for its customers in Japan and will also be providing other security and messaging solutions to them.

The company will offer its Home Security, Disaster Management and the latest patented invention, "Micro VBB" in Japanese version as part of this agreement. According to the company press release, these systems enable users to remotely monitor and control their assets through wireless systems including SMS technology.

The solution offered consists of a single device being installed to track variations in the state of the security including remotely switching on/off devices as per need. Based on its sensors and controls the device communicates this information to the owner or administrator through a simple message on his handheld device, states the release.

Toshiaki Suzuki, General Manager, Chief Engineer, Overseas Operation, T.S.B., signed the tie-up on behalf of TSB as Japan presents a large opportunity for the company's products, which would effectively place the security directly in the owner's hands, instead of relying on third party agencies.

TSB would also take other proven security products of the company to provide security for homes shortly and extend their marketing to other Asia Pacific countries.
