MetricStream installs GRC solns at iRobot

BANGALORE, INDIA: Bangalore-based MetricStream, a provider of enterprise-wide governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, has announced that US-based iRobot Corporation, a pioneer in robotics, has implemented its Audit and Corrective Action Management solutions.

By leveraging the MetricStream solutions, iRobot looks to achieve end-to-end integration of quality management across its operations -- throughout its supply chain, manufacturing and assembly operations -- to drive product reliability, continuous improvement, said a press release.

MetricStream solution will automate and streamline a range of quality-related processes such as non-conforming material management (NCM), deviations handling, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), audits and return material authorization (RMA) involving iRobot's internal operations, suppliers and contractor manufacturers.

The system will serve as the enterprise-wide platform to collect, distribute and analyze quality data throughout the supply chain with web-based access for internal employees as well as suppliers.
