Mercator, CSC set up center in Bangalore

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Mercator, the information technology (IT) division of Dubai-based Emirates Group and Computer Sciences Corporation, has inaugurated the dedicated development center (DDC) in Bangalore.

The opening of the DDC is a part of a previously announced contract signed between Mercator and Covansys, a company now merged with CSC India.

The new DDC will offer Mercator’s travel and transportation industry clients scalable IT services including product development, applications development and maintenance, testing services, technology consulting and project management.

Patrick Naef, head of Mercator and divisional senior vice president IT, Emirates Group, said, "This relationship with CSC India will help ensure success in fueling the growth of both these organizations by developing innovative and cutting edge IT solutions."
