Joining forces with AFS will allow us to better serve our customers in the foodservice marketplace,” says Arthur Burkhart, MenuMax Vice President of sales and marketing. “With PROFILE, foodservice operators can easily access standardized industry data to identify branded product preferences for their menu offerings. PROFILE fills the information gap allowing users to match products to distributor order guides, which are used for food costing within our application.

Once foodservice operators' recipes are put into MenuMax, they can be broken down by ingredient for food cost calculation, analyzed for nutrition composition,  inserted in menus for profit margin management and resized by yield, portion size, or baker percentage.

Ken Yontz, executive vice president at AFS Technologies, said, “AFS has a long history of developing innovative solutions for the foodservice market. By working with MenuMax on this project, we combine the strengths of both organizations to create a robust recipe-management tool using the extensive product information, from PROFILE database.”
