The Indian company has been founded with an investment of $4million in its first phase. This pioneering venture has been created for the purpose of generation and distribution of medical and material database and to establish a logistics network.

India has witnessed a dramatic growth in the healthcare sector. There has been a rise in the number of hospitals, which is equally proportionate to the huge demand of services in the medical sector.

However, since each hospital has its own unique name and code for a product (syringe, needle and catheter), at the time of the inventory management and placing orders to the distributors it can lead to mistakes in orders or delivery, and shortage of stock and excess inventory. Hence, for further development, a Medical Standard Code and a fundamental database system is the need of the hour.

Carna Medical Database has been created for maintaining a comprehensive medical database and an efficient logistics network in India. It is the first company in India to set up the standardized coding system for medical consumable and to launch a service medical database.
