McAfee names Kevin Weiss as president

ATLANTA: Anti-virus software maker McAfee Inc. on Monday said Kevin Weiss, who had been executive vice president for worldwide sales and services, was promoted to president.

In a statement, the Santa Clara, California, company also said Eric Brown, who came to the company in January 2005 as chief financial officer, would take on added duties as chief operating officer.
