McAfee appoints director, HR

McAfee Software India Pvt Ltd appoints Rajeev Malik as Director Human Resources. Rajeev joined McAfee in September 2004 and in his new capacity, will be responsible for leading the Human Resources function for the India operations. He has a well-rounded HR experience of 12 years working with reputed multinationals.

Prior to joining McAfee, Rajeev was General Manager Human Resources at IBM India Limited. In an association lasting six years, he has served the organization in different leadership roles. He started as Northern region Head HR and thereafter took business HR leadership role for India Research Lab, Sales & Distribution and Consulting organizations in IBM India. He was sent on a two year assignment to the IBM Corporation's US operations where he worked as a Business HR Partner for the Research Division at New York. In his last role at IBM India Limited, Rajeev provided HR leadership to IBM Global Services business and was instrumental in growing the application management services business in India.

Rajeev started his career at Asea Brown Boveri India Limited and worked at the manufacturing plants in Faridabad and Bangalore. He has also been associated with Siemens Public Communication Networks Limited as Senior Manager and provided leadership to the Human Resource Development function.

Rajeev has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Delhi School of Social Work besides a postgraduate diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.
