Maxthon brings power browsing to Android

BEIJING, CHINA: Maxthon LTD. has recently announced the Maxthon Mobile for Android phones.

According to the press release, new product pairs a fast, WebKit-based mobile browser with Maxthon's cloud services  to give Maxthon users a completely portable internet experience.

Jeff Chen, CEO of Maxthon said, Maxthon Mobile was designed from the ground up to meet the higher level of sharing and communication needs of mobile phone users.

"Other phone browsers have been based on a PC browser, which has different uses and demands compared to a mobile browser," added Chen.

He further added, "Maxthon Mobile is based on R&D that has created an original core product integrating Android and WebKit technology. Building on Maxthon's existing desktop cloud browsing services, Maxthon Mobile leverages the Android platform with unique improvements such as easy syncing of settings, touch-screen browsing, multi-tabbed browsing and RSS reader.
