Matrix telecom to go the retail way

MUMBAI: Matrix Telecom, is poised to go the retail way to make its presence felt in the SOHO segment. The company has decided to sell its EPBAX products through retail outlets in the country. The company would also rope in more channel partners to strengthen its channel business.

Initially, the company would display its products in Mumbai and Delhi. These retail outlets include telecom showrooms, and lifestyle outlets. The company currently has seven products in its kitty for SOHO segment. With three in the development stage, it would offer the range of EPBAX solution within six months in all the major outlets across the country.

The company has also decided to expand its channel structure. Currently, it has 300 channel partners across India and it is going to add 200 more within two years time frame. The company is also plans to open its new manufacturing facility in Baroda with

an initial investment of Rs 1.5 crore.  With the opening of this facility, Matrix hopes to double its production capacity. The company is expecting a growth of 40 percent over the next three years and is targeting a revenue of Rs 16 crore this year which is 35 percent more compared to last year.
