Mastek sets up 2nd SDC in Pune

NEW DELHI: Mastek Ltd, an international software solutions and integration services provider, is launching a new development center in Pune as part of its future expansion plans. This will be Mastek group's second center in Pune. The new center has a seating capacity of 550 professionals.

The company had recently launched a new development center in Pune and this would be its second development facility in this city. With the new development center Mastek's Pune operation would account for 775 professionals. According to the Group's chairman and founder Ashank Desai, the company has also planned to expand in Mumbai and Chennai.

"The Pune ODC is central to our growth strategy, which is further demonstrated through our two development centers here. Over the years, we have built our domain expertise in insurance, and have pioneered and executed many web based projects from Pune," added Desai.

The company had recently signed a memorandum of agreement to acquire 15.5 acres of land at Mahindra City in Chennai to set up its sixth development center in India and its first outside Maharashtra.
