BANGALORE: Indian software services firm Mascot Systems Ltd. said on Monday
it had tied up with US-based mobile Internet firm Air2Web Inc. to develop
wireless technologies.
A statement from Mascot said that through its alliance with Air2Web, it would
develop wireless application solutions using Air2Web's wireless technology
platform.
Mascot shares were trading at Rs 295 on Monday at the Bombay Stock Exchange,
up 5.2 per cent or Rs 14.50, while the Bombay exchange 30-stock index was up
0.48 per cent at 3,924.56 points.
"We are already targeting key customers in Europe and the Far East to
provide Air2Web-based solutions," said Mascot chief technology officer
Shekar Sivasubramanian in a statement.
However, the company has not given any financial details of the alliance.
Mascot is a subsidiary of US-based iGate Capital Corp.
