NEW DELHI: MapInfo Corporation, location intelligence solutions provider, expands its global presence with the opening of research and development and technical support center in Noida.

“The launch of MapInfo India underscores our expanding global presence and establishes a new R&D office in one of the world’s leading technology centers,” said Mark Cattini, president and CEO of MapInfo.

“Manish Choudhary will be spearheading MapInfo India as its managing director of operations. We are confident that Choudhary’s years of experience at MapInfo and his ability to train, mentor and manage a great team of engineers to ensure best practices in R&D and technical support,” he added.

MapInfo India will focus on the R&D of location intelligence technology and be a regional hub in the Delhi area and help drive global R&D efforts, enabling the company to better service partners and respond to customer needs.

The Noida office is recruiting fresh as well as experienced engineers from across India, in all levels of Java and .NET technologies for software product development, quality assurance and technical support activities, MapInfo said in a statement.

MapInfo location intelligence solutions consist of software, data, expert support and consulting services that enable organizations to make insightful decisions that improve business performance.
