Stahl is a provider of high quality coatings for leather, substrates, textiles and related products that operates eight manufacturing sites and 26 laboratory facilities, and employs more than 1,100 people in more than 28 countries.

"As a worldwide company with a large footprint, we needed to share current metrics, KPI's (key performance indicators) and financial information with our executive team and subsidiaries in ways that are easy for our business analysts to produce and easy for executives to understand," said Christ Damon, Group Finance Director. "Our business analysts spend more time on analysis in completely different ways without the need to spend time collecting and managing data in different views."

"Now more than ever, companies need rapid access to information about company performance. At the same time, few can afford bloated business intelligence software with high license fees, long roll-outs, expensive maintenance and low user adoption rates," said  Christian Chabot, CEO, Co-founder, Tableau. "Stahl Holdings was looking for rapid-fire BI - a new kind of BI that gives people of all skill levels the power to provide visual analytics and business dashboards."
