Mantra Online launches corporate mail solutions

BANGALORE: Bharti BT's Mantra Online has announced the launch

of corporate mail solutions that will enable companies to have their own Internet email addresses in the format "username@companyname.com".

The end-users can have an Internet address such as

Myname@Companyname.com without having to invest in a separate leased line it a mail server for the purpose. The format also makes recall easy and users can log in from anywhere in the world. Mantra Online is targeting the SOHO segment and SMEs.

Mantra has a subscriber base of over 50,000 according to a

press release. It offers off the shelf Internet starter kits, leased line access, ISDN access, Intranet and Extranet solutions, security services, messaging and email solutions, web hosting, and VPN services. It also enables users to host individual web pages and corporate web sites as well as providing e commerce expertise.
