Manthan Systems launches ARC reseller programme

BANGALORE: Manthan Systems, provider of business intelligence (BI) and IT services to the retail and consumer products industries, launched a reseller program for its flagship product ‘ARC’ - an integrated retail business intelligence solution.

The ARC Reseller Program is aimed at delivering greater value to the business intelligence needs of global retailers by establishing a reseller network to represent ARC in key US and UK markets, an Manthan statement said.

Explaining ARC’s unique proposition for retailers, Anand Sri Ganesh, director – Product Strategy and Marketing, Manthan Systems, said, “the product explicitly addresses the processes, practices and technology nuances of retail business analysis and retail data. ARC comprises an integrated stack of all the components that a retailer would need to deploy within their BI environment – an enterprise data warehouse, an ETL engine, a Hybrid OLAP model, reporting and analysis interfaces, and an application development environment to manage and customize the BI platform.”

Sachit Murthy, director – Sales and Client Relationships, Manthan Systems, said, “Having proven ARC’s value in the first year of its launch, we now aim to bring ARC to the larger retail market through a reseller network that is capable of selling enterprise solutions to global retailers. In the next 6 months we will appoint partners in our current geographic markets as well as new ones.”

The ARC reseller program aims to bring value to both Manthan and its partners through a growth-focused strategy that leverages ARC's strong market demand.

Citing an attractive proposition for resellers, Ganesh said, “We expect each of our reseller-partners to make over a million dollars in 2007 through ARC license sales commissions alone. Our product engineering focus, marketing program, our implementation and support that leverages an onsite-offshore model ensures that our partners get the right level of sales empowerment and support.”
