Manpower Inc. acquires 74 p.c stake in WDC

NEW DELHI, INDIA: International IT workforce solutions provider Manpower Inc. Thursday said that it has acquired a 74 per cent stake in WDC, a leading IT staffing services company.

According to a Manpower statement, the acquisition would strengthen the company's presence and capabilities in India and Asia Pacific region.

"This acquisition is consistent with our strategy of acquiring strategic capabilities that strengthen our ability to deliver such innovative workforce solutions to our clients," Manpower Inc. executive vice president Darryl Green said.

Manpower Inc. majors in providing several innovative workforce-based solutions to its clients in the IT related staffing services segment.
