Manpower expands B'lore facility

NEW DELHI: Manpower Services India Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Manpower Inc., a global HR Services firm, has announced the expansion of its workforce solutions division in Bangalore. According to the press release, this strategic initiative is part of the company' expansion plans to establish a larger presence to address HR requirements of its existing and prospective clients and also to cater to the vast talent pool in the country. Manpower Inc., APAC MD, Iain Herbertson inaugurated the new 3500 sq. ft. workforce solutions division facility.

Speaking on the occasion, Herbertson said, "We are pleased to further reinforce our presence in India. Our clients recognize the need for better performance from the HR industry in the country. In order to provide quality support to our clients, we have localized our assessment methodologies and our online training university — the Global Learning Center, that together enable Manpower to make sure that every candidate we submit has not only, the skills needed to do the work but, will also be a good cultural fit with our client". The expansion announcement comes on the heels of other developments, including the setting up of a specialized ITeS division headquartered in Bangalore.

The Workforce Solutions Division offers permanent, temporary, contract recruitment and payrolling services for all industry verticals. It comprises of staff, which is specially trained in HR issues for different industry verticals, and provides a workforce with the skills to deliver superior performance that can be accurately measured and assessed. This division has two other offices at New Delhi and Mumbai respectively, and is headquartered at New Delhi.
