Manoj Kohli resigns from Bharti board, Shishir Priyadarshi takes over

BANGALORE, INDIA: Manoj Kohli, managing director of Bharti Enterprises has resigned from the board.

Kohli has been in the Bharti telecom business arena since 2002. He drove the business as managing director and chief executive officer of Airtel's international business to take over as MD of Bharti Enterprises last year. During his tenure the company expanded its business and the customer base grew to more than 140 million.

According to reports, the company has announced that Shishir Priyadarshi has been appointed for the position as an independent director.

The company also recently announced its quarter results where it has reported that it  made the highest profits in the recent years.
