DiGi, as per a press release, is one of Malaysia’s leading mobile operators, serving 7.7 million customers across Malaysia. Their 3G rollout is aimed at delivering quality and best value Internet to the people on Malaysia’s most advanced Turbo 3G (14.4 Mbps HSPA) network.

DiGi will use NetCracker’s Resource Inventory, Discovery & Reconciliation, and Design & Planning capabilities to help create a central repository of network and IT information used by all operations and management systems. This unified view of the network will enable DiGi to automate processes, boost operational efficiencies, and lower risk and costs associated with next-generation infrastructure deployment.

In addition to its product portfolio, NetCracker is providing a full range of services to implement and operationalize the DiGi solution, combining aspects of NetCracker best practices, consulting services for business optimization, and PMO ownership to guarantee maximum business benefits and rapid monetization.

“Excellent customer experience and operational efficiency are our key priorities,” said Ole Martin Gunhildsbu, CTO of DiGi. “NetCracker’s OSS solution will enable higher visibility and management of multiple assets from a central location, ensuring that our service delivery process is best in class.”
