BRS selected AWARE to provide “a case management system for the bureau which supports its various programs and divisions, and provides security, remote access and robust case management, fiscal functions and reporting for its users.”

BRS serves Maine citizens through three divisions, five regions, and nine regional offices.  Each year, BRS assists approximately 11,000 Mainers with disabilities in obtaining jobs.  The project was made possible by the ARRA Stimulus Act and the nation’s focus on jobs creation and economic recovery.

Maine BRS becomes the 24th state agency to implement the AWARE case management solution.

Gary Penley, Alliance’s Director of Application Services, noted that, “With 29 years experience and an unblemished record, Alliance has assembled the tools, the methods and the skilled professionals to get the project done on time and on budget.  We are very excited to join BRS in helping Mainers get better jobs faster.”
