MAIA Intelligence to launch OneKEY Investigator

MUMBAI, INDIA: MAIA Intelligence will soon be launching OneKEY Investigator, an auditing software. This can help in detecting frauds and fiscal anomalies, based on data analysis of an organization. It uses computer-aided audit techniques and removes manual auditing process for checking of figures on a regular basis.

“OneKEY Investigator is a standardized product, and it does not require a lot of resources from an organization's existing infrastructure setup. Customers have the option of shifting from time-consuming manual verifications to intelligent automated analysis of the audit data, and provide better assurance and value addition to them,” said Sanjay Mehta, CEO, MAIA Intelligence.

The product can audit any digitized data, system and control, regardless of the software platform on which the source data is stored. It also provides several audit-specific routines, such as sampling, stratification, aging analysis, classification, summarization, etc to help auditors easily narrow down to specific transactions to be audited. This eliminates the need to go through exhaustive paper documents.

MAIA Intelligence is working with certain Certified Information System Auditors (CISA) to offer this security software to enterprise customers. “We are also in the process of identifying software resellers who are already offering Microsoft's enterprise solutions, and work with them to add this module to their suite of solutions offered to customers," added Mehta. “We have received a lot of support from Microsoft for our business intelligence solutions and we expect this support to continue when we launch OneKEY Investigator too,” he added.

This aside, MAIA has tied up with few independent software vendors (ISV) like Kale Consultants, Agile Financial Technologies and Nelito Sytems in 2009. It will work with them closely to position the OneKEY Investigator amongst financial companies.

“The ISV appointed for the OneKEY Investigator product are key players in the market and are an important platform for delivering a comprehensive business intelligence solution. Each of these ISVs are already engaged with several enterprises for certain core software solutions like logistics management, core banking solutions, etc. They are in a better position to align our solutions with the ones they are already offering,” added Mehta.

MAIA Intelligence plans to launch OneKEY Investigator in the month of March, to coincide with the launch of Microsoft's Windows Azure.

The company is also closely working on a project with the Income Tax department to deploy this solution across several offices throughout the country. This is likely to be a Rs 10 crore deployment which will give MAIA a major shot in the arm this year.
