Mahindra group ties up with Cisco

MUMBAI, INDIA: India's Mahindra group is partnering with U.S. telecom equipment maker Cisco Systems to provide a range of services including cloud computing, the companies said on Tuesday.

The agreement would involve multiple contracts across regions, Mahindra's chief Anand Mahindra told a media briefing.

Shares in Tech Mahindra rose 7.4 per cent and shares in Mahindra Satyam rose 4 per cent following the news. Both companies are units of the Mahindra group.
