Mahindra Satyam to support Bridgestone in sales & finance

BANGALORE, INDIA: Mahindra Satyam has bagged a multi-year managed services contract with Bridgestone Europe.

The company, according to a statement, will work on SAP-based mission critical applications for Bridgestone Europe, but as of now it hasn't divulged any financial details of the deal.

As a part of the deal, Mahindra Satyam will support Bridgestone in sales, planning procurement and finance functions, it said.

"Bridgestone's selection truly endorses the fact that our footprint in Europe continues to be strong as a market leader," Mahindra Satyam head (delivery-Europe) and senior vice-president Sharat Kumar said.

Mahindra Satyam has been working with Bridgestone since 2005 in providing IT application development and support services.
