Mahindra Satyam launches Delivery xPress

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Indian IT major Mahindra Satyam on Wednesday launched a new service delivery model, called 'Delivery Express', that offers its ERP customers a rapid execution tool to ensure smooth, efficient and timely delivery.

Delivery xPress is a technology portal which contains accelerators to support different service offerings. It provides a one-stop shop for all accelerators for execution with user-friendly wizards, the company said in a statement.

It supports running of accelerators in many instances namely CRP, UAT and production. This framework is built using platform independent technology and will enable one time installation and multiple times usage of all accelerators.

Announcing the launch of Delivery Express , V Srinivasa Rao, vice-president and Head, Oracle Practice at Mahindra Satyam, said that in the 'new normal' world, customers have been expecting faster and better services from IT service providers.

“This implies that considerable amount of automation is required in the delivery processes to improve the outcome. Mahindra Satyam’s Oracle Specialization Centers have been investing on building many assets covering different competencies of the Oracle ecosystem. I am very confident that Delivery xPress will add considerable value to our customers,” he added.

It can be used across all Oracle streams such as Oracle eBusiness, PeopleSoft, Siebel, JDE, etc. and accelerators across many of the streams are already available. This enables faster implementations for conversion of data from legacy to target systems but also automates of upgrade process.
