Magicon Impex brings low-cost Android phones

Magicon Impex- a brand of Hong Kong-based CONPLEX in partnership with Aircel today introduced three low-cost Android devices for India market.

The Magicon Impex mNote is priced Rs 9,999 while Magicon m1 and m2 Smartphones are priced at Rs 4,499 and 4,999 respectively.

These devices come bundled with Aircel 1GB data plan, 250 minutes (local and national) talktime and 250 SMS for three months. The new products also include free 4GB memory card. The company also offers extended 18 months warranty.

CONPLEX MD CP Batheja said that the new products, under Aircel partnership, are ultra smart with sensitive capacitive touch. "Our USP is value for money. As a part of feedback, it was discovered that our touch is better than Samsung," Batheja said.

Jitendra Rahi, national distributor head at Aircel said that everybody today is looking at Internet and availability of devices at low price points is a key. "The future of telecom lies in data, and these new devices are in sync with our target audience," Rahi said.

The company announced the new range under the tagline: ‘smarter phones for smart people,' and is eyeing at the youth. All the three products are dual SIM, dual standby phones with G-sensor, proximity sensor, Wi-Fi and Blutooth connectivity.

Magicon mNote is powered with dual-core 1GHz processor, 5" WVGA display with a regular front camera and an 8 mega pixel rear camera with auto focus and flash capabilities. It's based on 3G Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

CEO of Magicon Impex Pankaj Anand said that their phones offer a superior user experience and their products are based on superior quality and are durable. "We already have special feature phones, but this lineup has a superior touch screen," Anand added.
