Macmillian turns pages with $190 mn deal

CHICAGO, US: R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company has been awarded a multi-year $190 million contract by Macmillan, an international publishing group with operations in more than 80 countries. The agreement renews and expands the companies’ relationship for producing trade, college and academic books.

RR Donnelley provides integrated communications and works collaboratively with over 60,000 customers worldwide to develop custom communications solutions that it claims, reduce costs, enhance ROI and ensure compliance. This is done by drawing on a range of proprietary and commercially available digital and conventional technologies deployed across four continents, and a suite of leading Internet based capabilities and other resources to provide premedia, printing, logistics and business process outsourcing services.
