Maars enters healthcare sector

BANGALORE: The Chennai-based Maars Software International Ltd.
has expanded its spectrum to cover healthcare services by offering complete
healthcare solutions. This is based on the company’s competence in the areas
of process re-engineering, workflow integration and web-based applications.

Maars has already secured a turn key order from Kanchi Kamakoti Childs Trust
Hospital here to implement an Internet based application system covering all
critical areas of operation. The system will be implemented over a period of six
months. The company has also secured orders worth $1.5 million for development
of Internet based complete solutions for healthcare organizations. It is also
expecting more orders for offshore development in Chennai from the United States
of America and Europe operations.

The company's research and development wing is in the process of developing an
Internet based product incorporating workflow and user friendly technologies to
address the needs of the healthcare industries in the new millennium.
