Splendia offers 5,000 hand-picked luxury and character hotels in over 130 countries, and so as it says, it is crucial to Splendia to make the online booking experience as smooth and customer-friendly as possible. To this end, they have selected Payment Service Provider GlobalCollect to facilitate credit card payments from across the world, with the option to explore alternative payment methods at a later stage.

Splendia also takes advantage of GlobalCollect’s ability to handle multi-currency transactions; to offer online customers the convenience of paying in their domestic currency adds a competitive edge to Splendia’s reservation platform.

On the back-end, GlobalCollect’s single-interface payment platform accommodates multi-currency fund remittance in up to 26 currencies, while issuing a single report, simple reconciliation, and either single- or multi-currency funding to its e-commerce merchants.

Amine Saoudi-Hassani, CFO of Splendia said: “We have experienced extremely rapid growth over the past five years, expanding to new markets, which created new needs and expectations from our customers. Hence, we have been looking for a global Payment Service Provider (PSP) to partner with that enables us to offer as many currencies as our customers could need, combined with secure technology. Given the proven track record of GlobalCollect as a leading PSP and the unrivalled portfolio of payment methods and currencies they offer, we are confident we have found the ideal partner with whom to build a profitable relationship that, above all, better serves our customers.”
