Features: The Exabyte 221L Plus and 110L Plus LTO Tape Libraries feature IBM's third-generation LTO Ultrium tape drive technology (LTO-3). Built with ExaBotics, Exabyte's patented robotics systems, both libraries offer hassle-free set-up and operation, robust feature sets, and the enhanced capacity, speed, and features of LTO-3 technology.






The Exabyte 221L Plus Tape Library with LTO-3 offers enterprise storage customers a tape automation solution designed to support SAN applications with intensive data storage volumes. Featuring two LTO-3 drives and 21 cartridge slots and built with ExaBotics, the 221L tape library provides capacity of up to 16.8 TB and data transfer speed of more than 1.1 TB per hour to support the growing data storage needs of enterprise customers. The 221L Plus Tape Library also offers a native Fiber Channel interface (available in mid June).





The 221L tape library offers a compact 5u form factor and powerful remote management capabilities including bar code scanner, Ethernet interface, and remote management and is ideal LTO-3 automation solution for the enterprise data center.





The Exabyte 110L Plus Tape Library with LTO-3, featuring one LTO-3 drive and 10 cartridge slots, provides capacity of up to 8 TB and data transfer speed of up to 576 GB per hour. The 110L with LTO-3 also offers enhanced connectivity, a bar code reader and an Ethernet port with remote management.
